Special Events
Here you can find explanations of some of the special events we support each year
Spook Spectacular
This is our annual Halloween themed carnival here at Wilder-Waite and is the PTO's main fundraiser for the year. It is a long-standing tradition in the community that dates back 60+ years. Spook Spectacular is a family friendly event and consists of fun carnival games, great food, a haunted hallway plus a silent auction and premium raffle event. The money raised through spook Spectacular allows us to provide financial support for class field trips, additional school supplies, playground enhancements, educational subscriptions and many other needed services including breakfast and snacks for children in need.
It is an awesome event and is only made possible by countless donors and volunteers. To get involved or find out more details, click here.
Family Reading Night
Come join us for a night of reading fun. You can also check out the book fair to add to your home library.
Staff Appreciation
Here at Wilder-Waite we make it a point to show our teachers and staff just how much we appreciate all their hard work. We do this by providing them special meals and treats through out the year, which are donated and delivered by our dedicated volunteers
Culture Fair
The Culture Fair is a unique celebration of the cultural diversity in our Wilder-Waite family. Held in the spring, the Culture Fair features traditional apparel, music, crafts and foods from various countries. It is a fun event where we get to share cultural experiences through music, textiles, food and more about all the countries our students represent. You might be surprised just how many countries that is!
Jingle Mingle
Families are invited to come enjoy some hot chocolate and make some cards for others to show we care.
Family Fun Night
Each spring we find a fun family activity to do as a student body.
